She was inquiring about photos for a re-commitment ceremony for
her parents...their story fits the name I have for my photography
perfectly...here is their 2nd story.
{a portion of Bevs email to me telling me their story....}
I called my mom tonight and told her I found a photographer, and she cried. She said she did not even have a photographer at her real wedding in 1952. I don't remember if I have filled you in on the whole story. Mom and Dad (Gordon and LuAnne Wulf) separated in 1970, Dad moved out of the family home, but they never divorced. Mom and us children lived in Lafayette, CA, and Dad live in San Rafael area. Life progressed, my two brothers and two sisters and I went on with our lives, getting married, leaving home, trying for 'normal'. Dad would come around rarely, but after us girls married and started our families, we wanted our children to know their Grandpa, so we contacted him. He would come around when invited to family gathrings, etc., and he and Mom would tolerate one another. Mom moved to Kentucky 15 years ago, got a good job, and bought a mobile home. She loves it there. Dad has a trailer in Red Bluff. But even as recently as last August at my neice's wedding, they were bickering about who-knows-what. So, fast-forward to May 2009, Mom was coming out to California for a church event in Bakersfield, but she wanted to fly into Sacramento and have Dad drive her down (attending the same event). Well, by the time they reached Bakersfield, they had fallen in love again. So, by the time Mom got back on the plane one week later, they had made plans to get back together, after 39 years apart. Dad bought Mom a ticket to fly to Calif. for a family Re-Comittment ceremony at my sisters' in Phelan (just west of Hesperia) and then they both will fly to Kentucky to live.
