Harris Ranch.
This wedding has so much meaning to it in about a million different ways.
I remember the day Ursula called me to inquire about me shooting her wedding,
we talked for quite a long time, even scheduled a session for them to have their
engagement pictures done. The wedding was months away...they got married on October 15th 2011.
I drove to Harris Ranch to shoot their wedding on the 14th, spent the night, woke up, got
all ready for the big day of shooting with my daughter Brenna, got to know alot of the people
that shared in Adam and Ursula's day, I remember talking to Ursula's mom, about how we both had
5 children, and the different things that we had in common,I talked about my kids,and I spent that
day completely surrounded by
LOVE I felt it all the way into the night, saying goodbye to
some of the wedding party, I left feel like I had known some of them for ages...We took off down
the road late that night heading to San Francisco for another wedding taking place the next day.
As I drove down the road away from Harris Ranch, I had no idea that it was the last day of my
daughter Alyssa's life. I look back now and am thankful that that entire weekend, I was surrounded
by people who were in love and people who showed me love. I am so thankful for the people that
enter my life thru my work. I'm thankful that I got to be part of this day with Adam and Ursula.
